Welcome to our NEW website!  We carry new and used books, specializing in Northwest authors, regional interest, mysteries, fiction, graphic novels and fantastical creatures.  Each summer we host one of the largest literary festivals in the Northwest (check out our Events page for more details).  Bob’s Beach Books features an extensive selection of books on Oregon and the Pacific Northwest including: hiking, places of interest, camping, nature guides, hauntings, regional history, and picture books.  We have a large section of books on all ocean related topics for kids and for adults.

If you’re looking for books on pirates, mermaids, fairies or dragons, this is the store for you!  We also have a passion for kid’s books with a great selections of picture and chapter books.  We have a nice variety of crafts and books by Oregon artists and authors including calendars, cards, prints, Laini’s Ladies and more.  Please feel free to call for details!  Comics, manga and graphic novels are all available at this shop.

We carry the complete line of cards and prints featuring the mermaid and fairy paintings of famed Portland, OR artist David Delamare, as well as his original paintings.  We have a small backstock of his out-of-print book “Animerotics” in right now as well as exclusive signed prints and limited editions.

Drop by or give us a call, we’d love to you something to read.  We do special orders (you don’t have to pay shipping or any fees, you even get a discount if you pay with cash or check) and we can generally get your book in a day or two.  Gift certificates are always available and if you’re out of the are we can mail them to the recipient for you if you’d like.

We host Northwest author & illustrator fairs every summer with over 40 authors at each event including award winners and best sellers.  We do ask the authors to sign back-stock so if you missed out on Patricia McMillip, Robin Gunn, or any of the other wonderful authors to join us, please call for info about finding a signed copy of your favorite author’s book.  If you’re out of the area we’ll be happy to ship it to you.
