We were fortunate enough to commission world renowned Portland, OR artist David Delamare to do a painting for us based upon our logo. He painted the beautiful “The Reading Mermaid”, seen at the top of our website, which is now featured in our store. Prints of this painting, and others, are available here at Bob’s Beach Books. His mermaid and fairy prints make wonderful gifts! As you wander our store you can see more of his original paintings including some of his illustration art. He has illustrated several children’s books including “Cinderella” and “The
Midnight Farm” for singer Carly Simon.

One of the largest used bookstores on the coast, Robert’s Bookshop has something for everyone. Only a fraction of the inventory is on their website so if you’re looking for something and don’t see it listed, don’t hesitate to get in touch. 23 years in business has given Bob a great eye for books and you can find many real treasures in the store. Covering the walls of the store you will find a fabulous collection of original illustration art, come check it out.
